The Merdian At Port Douglas
The Meridian at Port Douglas opened in November, 2003 and offers luxury boutique accommodation with a selection of studios and 1 bedroom apartments that can convert to "Dual Key Dual Occupancy" 2 bedroom apartments. This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom configuration makes them ideal for couples travelling together, giving each couple complete privacy.
The Meridian at Port Douglas is located within walking distance to the three icons of Port Douglas - The Marina Mirage (400meters), where the reef cruises depart, spectacular Four Mile Beach is only 200 meters, and the cosmopolitan main thoroughfare, Macrossan Street is a short stroll of 100 meters.
Port Douglas is just an hour's drive from Cairns and is the gateway to the area. A winning combination of a cosmopolitan township and a friendly village, it has world class resorts and shopping, award winning restaurants and superb galleries and craft stores. Since marine tourism was first pioneered in the 1970's, Port Douglas has been a popular departure point for day and extended trips to the Great Barrier Reef.



Port Douglas sits on an isthmus beside the sparkling waters of Dickson Inlet and the rolling waves of the Coral Sea. Overlooking 'Port', as everyone calls it, is Flagstaff Hill, which is the best place to capture the striking views of the town and its superb Four Mile Beach.

Apartments
- 1 Bedroom Apartments: 1 Bedroom Apartments feature a large balcony for dining with the comfort of spacious living area internally. They are fully self contained with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and conventional microwave oven. The bedroom has a large king size bed that can become Twin Share should you require.
- Studio Apartments: All Studio's have a kitchenette (microwave, tea/coffee facilities, crockery - Hotel Style). Queen bed, small balcony. Ground floor apartments have a patio with direct access to the pool, otherwise, 2 of the studio's face onto a private courtyard with a heated Jacuzzi. Please note that all rooms can only accommodate 2 people - no sofa beds or rollaway beds are available.
- 2 Bedroom Apartments (On Request): 2 Bedroom Apartments have a choice of either outdoor Jacuzzi's on the private spacious balconies, or access to the pool from the timber pool deck. Deluxe apartments have the Jacuzzi in a private garden courtyard.
- Honeymoon Apartments: Feature full self-contained kitchen, spa bath in the bathroom, bedroom with king size bed, and a large living area that extends out to a private balcony with a Jacuzzi spa. Honeymoon Deluxe, on the ground level, has the Jacuzzi in a private courtyard. The living area has a private balcony connected to the timber pool deck.

- All Studio's have a full-sized bath with a shower overhead, all 1 Bedroom apartments have a large shower recess. All bathrooms feature granite finishes and quality wall tiling.
- The basement car park has security controlled access and an elevator to all levels.

Rates valid 01 Apr 2008 to 31 Mar 2009. High Season: 23 June 2008 To 31 October 2007. Low Season: 01 Apr to 22 June and 01 Nov to 31 Mar. Minimum 3 night stay.
Room Service: Apartments are not serviced on a daily basis. For stays of 6 days a mid-week service will be provided. For longer stays, apartments will be serviced approximately every 4-5 days. Should Guest require a daily service, this can be arranged on request (extra charge).
