The Savannahlander operates for 42 Weeks of the year, from the first Wednesday in March (5 March 2009) until the second Wednesday in December (12 Dec in 2009)

PACKAGE 1 – TRAIN ‘N TOURS

Save with this package - do the full trip and see all the sights! This package offers all the tours, but staying in accommodation in Forsayth and Mt Surprise, rather than out at the tour sites. Includes transfers, tours of Chillagoe Caves and town, Cobbold Gorge and Undara, dinner and breakfast at overnight accommodation, which is at the Chillagoe Eco Lodge (ensuite cabins), Forsayth Tourist Park and Bedrock Village Van Park (ensuite cabins) in Mt Surprise.

This one is for those more interested in the train trip than the tours, but who still demand a high standard of accommodation. Included is a tour of Chillagoe caves, dinner and breakfast at overnight accommodation, which is at: Chillagoe Eco Lodge and Observatory, Forsayth Tourist Park and a motel room in the Mt Surprise tourist park.

Dinner and breakfast is included at Forsayth and Mt Surprise. Great meals from $10.00 are available at the Post Office Hotel in Chillagoe.

Enjoy the hospitality of the outback pubs on this trip. Meals are not included (except at the Goldfields Hotel in Forsayth, where a light breakfast is included), but great value pub counter meals are available at all venues. You stay at the Railway Hotel, Almaden , Goldfields hotel in Forsayth and the Mt Surprise Hotel.
