Prices And Conditions

All prices mentioned in this brochure are valid from 1st April 2008 until 31st March 2009 unless otherwise specified. All prices are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of 10% GST, where applicable. Accommodation, meals, fares and items of personal nature en route from and to home cities are not included in the price. Operator imposed levies and existing or proposed taxes and government charges are not included in the price, unless otherwise specified.

If any new taxes or charges are introduced or if any existing taxes or charges are varied, the price of your holiday may vary at any time up to 30 days prior to departure, even after you have paid all or part of the quoted price of your holiday.

Prices and conditions are current at the time of printing but are subject to change without notice. Some Operators may impose conditions that vary from the conditions stated in this brochure.

All prices, other payments and conditions should be verified with us at the time of booking. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of the price which will be subject to advice on confirmation of the reservation.

You will be notified if any part of your holiday for reasons beyond your control has to change. If any such changes result in your holiday costing more, or otherwise being materially different from your original booking, you may cancel your holiday and we will refund all monies paid less any charges levied by Operators.

Prices shown in this brochure are based on payments made by cash, cheque or direct deposit. An additional 1.5% credit card service fee will apply to the dollar amount paid by credit card.

Responsibility

In producing this brochure, FNQ Travel Centre has used information supplied by the people and organisations (Operators) providing the various goods and / or services (Products). In supplying this information to you, FNQ Travel Centre is acting as the agent for these Operators. Irrespective of any measures take by FNQ Travel Centre to ensure the information contained in this brochure is accurate at the time of printing, FNQ Travel Centre disclaims and will be exempt from liability in respect of anything misleading, false, incomplete or inaccurate and any errors, misdescription and all associated disappointment, loss, expense, damage, inconvenience, delay, death, shock, illness or injury, however caused. FNQ Travel Centre does not control the matter in which Products featured within this brochure are provided.

FNQ Travel Centre disclaims and will be exempt from liability for anything to do with the supply of such products. This includes liability (whether as a matter of contract, tort, statute, restitution, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, liability, claim, cost, expense, proceeding, demand or penalty, disappointment, death, injury, illness, shock, inconvenience or delay. This limitation of liability also applies irrespective of the cause including withdrawal, cancellation or failure to provide a Product, delay, any variation in the Product, the provision of substitute Products or a change in the Operator. Without limitation we will not be responsible if the Product is not available due to inclement weather conditions or other acts of God, civil disturbances, fire, flood, acts of Government or any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.

Hotel room photographs are a representative only and actual rooms occupied may vary in décor and inclusions from those shown.

Deposits

A deposit of $ 50 per person together with completed booking form is required within 7 days (unless otherwise advised) to ensure confirmation of your booking. The payment of deposit by and/or on behalf of any person constitutes the full agreement with and the acceptance of the terms and conditions as set forth in this brochure. A deposit holds services but does not guarantee prices.

Final Payment

Final payment is due at the latest 30 days prior to your travel, or by sale end date or by the payment deadline imposed by the Operator, whichever is earliest. With bookings made 30 days or less prior to travel, but more than 7 days prior to travel, full payment is required within 24 hours of confirmation of your booking. For bookings made less than 7 days prior to travel, full payment is required at the time of confirmation of your booking.

Amendment Fees

Any amendment to your booking is subject to the approval of the Operator. Any approved change to your booking prior to, at or after making final payment may incur an amendment fee of $ 20.00 in addition to any fees imposed by the Operator.

Late Bookings

A fee of $20.00 will be charged for any late booking which necessitates documents being forwarded by Express Post or Courier.

Cancellations And Refunds

• Prior to Final Payment: There will be no refund of your deposit in the event you cancel your booking prior to final payment. However your deposit less an amendment fee may be used towards a deposit on another booking made through FNQ Travel Centre, if booked within 12 months from the date of cancellation of the original booking.
• After Final Payment: There will be no refund of your deposit in the event you cancel your booking, in addition to any fees imposed by the Operator, which may be up to 100% of monies paid. However your deposit less an amendment fee may be used towards a deposit on another booking made through FNQ Travel Centre, if booked within 12 months from the date of cancellation of the original booking, provided the Operator does not impose a cancellation fee.

Children And Family Prices

Children and Family prices are subject to age and other conditions. These conditions should be obtained from FNQ Travel Centre prior to booking your holiday.

Travel Insurance

FNQ Travel Centre strongly recommends travel insurance as it may protect you if you cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances. Contact our head office for details.
